 IP Cores

In electronic design and electronic design automation, an Intellectual Property (IP) block—or IP core—is a unit of reusable design. IP cores are for hardware design what libraries are for computer programming. IP core commonly takes the form of a computer program written in some HDL—such as Verilog, VHDL, or SystemC—but it can also be a netlist or physical layout, especially in analog electronics. The term is derived from the licensing of the intellectual property rights, such as patents and copyrights that subsist in the design.

SPLITZDESIGN offer a large selection of off-the-shelf IP cores. IP development forms an inherent part of design activity at SPLITZDESIGN. Our IP Expertise Center Services help you implement the specifications. IP customization is best left to our designers. Their intimate knowledge of the IP block ensures that compliance to the standard is maintained during modification and performance is not affected. We developed generic IP cores which complies one or more industry standards or it could be a custom block specific to the client's requirements, the use of which has been licensed to a third party.

Our service includes:

  • Standard compliant IP
  • Silicon proven so you can minimize project risk and reduce time-to-market
  • Flexible with a variety of implementation options and user friendly interfaces that allow you to meet your unique design requirements

Our Advantage

  • No royalty fees
  • Robust performance based on rigorous verification and validation
  • Long experience in this domain, assuring stability and comprehensive understanding
  • Market-proven IPs that help reduce costs and time-to-market
  • Multiple successful projects completed
  • End-to-end solutions
  • Robust IP and engineering services
  • Long-term roadmap for IP development
  • Superior service and support
  • Dedicated resources

Standard Compliant IPUse of IP cores reduces time-to-market because you can avoid the process of designing standardized functions from scratch. Our generic IP cores developed in-house or for a client requirement helps in demonstrating domain strengths and also adds value to customers by reducing their time to market.

IP cores developed by us follow the RMM and would comply with the VSIA recommendations enabling reusability of the IP.
